Bible College Introduction

The first Level 1 model is open to all. Registration is free but each candidate will be expected to abide by the ethos of the East Hill Baptist Church community.

Objective
For those who want to go deeper and know more about the Word of God, to be confident in your systematic theology of God, and be better prepared to serve God, then this is a wonderful opportunity for you to be grounded and anchored in God’s Word.

Our 5 module foundational certificate in biblical studies course will cover 30 topics.

We teach in a simple and practical way to enable you to get the most out of your time and put what you learn into practice. For those that complete Level 1 successfully there is the opportunity to join our Level 2 course and continue your studies and grow even further in the future.

The Certificate in Biblical Studies

bible-collegeThe Certificate in biblical Studies is designed to prepare committed Christians for practical engagement in ministry and is bestowed on those who have completed all 5 modules of the curriculum and have successfully demonstrated a clear grasp of the course through completed assignment. There will be a required paper for special field elective.

For those who want to engage in the college class but not take on the pressure of assignments then an audit track is available.

For those seeking an accredited degree East Hill Baptist college will assist in helping you enroll in distance education with Moor college and The Good Book Company. there will be a reasonable cost for this course i.e. 30 pounds per module.

Archives and resources

In the tradition of Charles H. Spurgeon, the East Hill Baptist Church’s Bible College of 2014 and 2015 conducted it’s lessons at the Spread Eagle Pub down the hill. According to our history, Charles H. Spurgeon (our founder) founded the church which stemmed from meetings with believers in the Spread Eagle Pub in the mid-1800’s.
